Derms of Mental Torture

Derms of mental torture are a variety of derms of the family tree. Derms of mental torture focus on damaging and harming members of a family in sick, abusive ways—both mental abuse and physical abuse, in a controlling manner.

This mental torture variety of demon is trying to manipulate and control generations to come in hopes to create abusive situations that continually mimic the pattern of what that original demon in human form practiced at the time they were alive.

That said, a derm of mental torture can skip a generation, due to less susceptibility and stronger fortitude of family members to not be driven in that direction and not take on any influence from the family tree derm of mental torture.
