Derms of alter ego are a variety of energy force derm. In this case, someone can almost grow their own demon out of negative energy derived from dark forces that exist in the spiritual realm and released from fallen angels. A demon can assist in this—mostly it's a derm of the family tree that would assist in someone growing their own derm of alter ego—and then that derm of alter ego strengthens that derm of the family tree. Literally, somebody can grow a small demon of their worst traits or attributes.
It doesn't mean these demons become dangerous or truly evil, but they become problematic in various ways because they strengthen any demons already influencing that individual. When someone's living and they're deceitful, they're arrogant, they're constantly jealous, they're manipulative, they're narcissistic, they're hateful and vengeful, then a small negative energetic force can take hold and start to coddle and craft those specific demeanors and tendencies and intentions. This type of demon becomes like an alter ego, a parallel version of someone created out of their dark thoughts, their dark interests, while they're still alive. And it can separate from the person's soul and body and form into its own little dark ball of energy.
A derm of alter ego can be very small at first. Then the more ill-hearted or vindictive or jealous or rageful the person gets—the type of jealousy or rage where they're carrying through an ill intention—the more this little energy force derm can grow over time. If it gets strong enough over time, a full-fledged demon can utilize the derm of alter ego, enter into it, or devour it, and now this person has this evolving demonic force that's influencing or in the way of the person.
